E-Trade, even using the subtly overused idea of a talking baby still managed to pound out a funny commercial and make the list.

 

4) Semi- Pro – (feat Will Farrell)

Regardless of how Will Farrell’s new movie does in the box theatres, the Semi–Pro commercial easily made the top 5 using Will Farrell’s unique humor and charisma.

 

3) Doritos – (Mouse Trap)

As a fan of the underdog (foreshadowing of the actual game), a mouse was able to turn the table on man and pound him into oblivion. This is a must see commercial that gets its humor from the visual.

 

2) Vitamin Water – (feat Shaq)

Cleverness comes to mind as one watches the 7ft, 375lb pound basketball player for the Miami Heat claim victory as a jockey due to the strength and power Vitamin Water packs in every bottle.

1) Fed Ex- (Pigeons)

The hilarity and terrific execution of carrier pigeons by Fed- Ex gained them the top spot in this year’s battle for best Super Bowl commercial.

 

WORST AD: Under Armour

I almost forgot that Under Armour was a footwear and apparel company due to their grandiose commercial which looked similar to Hitler rallying support in the midst of WWII. The marketers definitely missed the boat on this one and hopefully their jobs.

 

SEXIEST AD: Victoria Secret

The only ad this year that was able to silence a room full of football crazed men was the sexy production put on by Victoria Secret. Although placed with minutes left to go in the game, fans of both teams became silent and united, knowing that they would still always be fans of long legs and Double D’s.
